About Us

The course "Investment Science Practice" in the department of Management
Science and Engineering at Stanford University will begin in April 2004.
Graduate students will form teams to work on projects chosen by
participating companies. Projects can cover: real options/valuation of real
assets, portfolio management, asset pricing, financial and credit risk
management, or other problems where decision making, modeling, and finance
are key aspects. Dozens of companies have participated in the past including
HP, Cisco Systems, Morgan Stanley, and many smaller firms. If you are
